Design of compact rain water harvesting system 
This device is a compact rain water collecting device. Taking care of the problem of space constraint and erratic water supply in metro-cities final product has been designed. Final product consists of use of QFD, concept generation method like morphological method and function diagram. After selecting the concept CAD model and its assembly drawing has been made using Solid works software. The product so designed is a motor driven self-sensing device with a catchment area 7.068𝑚2 and capacity of 6000 liter/yr.
